13e Note by Maïssa Parfums is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. 13e Note was launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Anne-Sophie Behaghel. Top notes are Metallic notes and Bergamot; middle notes are Indian Tuberose and Iris; base notes are Patchouli, Cedarwood, Civet and Honey. Few literary works capture the evocative power of scent as profoundly as Patrick Süskind’s debut novel, “Perfume.” Translating such a masterpiece into a fragrance presents an unprecedented challenge for any perfumer or fragrance house: a delicate and audacious undertaking that involves distilling the precision of Süskind’s prose and the enigmatic darkness of its protagonist into a single olfactory creation. For years, we hesitated to tackle this daunting task, aware of the complex expertise it demanded. But in 2025, in honor of the novel’s 40th anniversary, we took the plunge and created a fragrance to pay homage to this iconic work. The result is 13e Note, an exclusive, limited-edition fragrance that embodies the essence and complexity of the novel.
